1.1. How to Connect to PowerSchool RDP With a Chrome Device
- Go to the Google App Store, and download "Chrome RDP".
- Launch Chrome RDP, and input "tsps.muskegonisd.org" into the address field.
- Click Connect.
- Username is " msgradebook". Get in touch with technology support for the password if you need it.
- If you get a certificate warning, go ahead and click "Continue".
- Once you're logged in, click the gradebook link on the desktop, and input your PowerSchool username and password.
1.2. Substitute Portal Instructions
Subsitute Teacher Portal
- Open a web browser and enter the following address or click here: https://ps-ms.muskegonisd.org/subs/pw.html
- Choose the School for which you are substituting
- Choose the teacher
- Enter the password (provided by teacher or by the office)
- Click Sign in

Sign Out — Click to sign out of PowerTeacher Subsitute
Attendance
Click the Chair icon to access the attendance page for the class where you can record the daily attendance (HR for elementary classrooms)
You do not have to put in a code for students that are present
- Choose the attendance code you want to assign from the Current attendance code pop-up menu
- Click the field next to the name of each student to whom you want to assign the attendance code
- Repeat for each student
- Click Submit
